In reply to Chris. Renewal cycles are 8-12 hours max as stated in the User Guide. What happened to your unit is when you left the unit plugged in for 48 hours, the color-changing coating on the indicator beads have been rendered dark permanently due to excess heat exposure. The moisture absorbing beads inside the unit still function and the unit will continue absorbing moisture. The units have a 5-year warranty, please contact customer service to see how they can assist you with your product.

Purchased a E-333 renewable dehumidifier for my gun safe last year. Plugged in to renew for 48 hours and pellets stayed green indicating wet. Filed warranty claim and awaiting results

Awesome unit but my fan no longer runs. Heat works and light comes on but no more fan. Cannot find parts to repair.

Only in use for a year and it has failed to recharge. It supposed to have a 5yr life/warranty. We shall see how the C/S works, or doesn’t.

I have one for my safe and after charging one time the beads turned yellow, like they should. Ten second time it needed charging the beads have stayed black and I can’t get an answer?

Having them for a couple of years in the bathroom without open air window and sunlight. It dries up so well and reducing odor to pleasant. It works well. I had to replace one to new one due to its age. It is great to have it running 24/7 due to high moisture level in that trap area of building design.

Have 3 of the 1200. Love their small size as it’s easy to hide them behind furniture or in closet. My home stays at a constant 50-58 degrees even in the rainy season.
However, one of them runs continuously because the metal piece that holds the water flapper has rusted. Dehumidifier still works but I have to remember to empty since it doesn’t shut off. Possibly use another source for the flapper since it’s constantly in water?
